Answer:

Given that :-

  • Length of wooden box = 90cm
  • Breadth of wooden box = 75cm
  • Height of the wooden box = 40cm

To find :-

  • The Capacity of the box and volume of the wood?

Solution :-

Thickness of wood = 2.5cm

=> Length = 90-(2.5+2.5) = 85cm

=> Breadth = 75-(2.5+2.5) = 70cm

=> Height = 40-(2.5+2.5) = 35cm

Volume = External volume - Internal volume

External volume = 90×75×40

=> 2,70,000cm³

So, 2,70,000 - 2,08,000

=> 62,000

Therefore, Volume of wood is 62,000cm³.
