External dimensions means the extended form of volume by the material of the object

so,outer dimensions are 2 more than the inner capacity or volume.

inner dimensions are
l=62-2
=60
b=30-2
=28
h=18-2
=16
therefore, the volume= 60×28×16
=14880cm³
