TSA of given Cylinder is  2992\:cm^2

Given :

External radius of cylinder (R) = 16cm

Height of the cylinder (h) = 13cm

Thickness of cylinder (t) = 4cm

To Find :

T.S.A of cylinder

Formula Applied :

TSA of cylinder = 2\pi (R+r)(R -r +h)

Solution :

Thickness of cylinder = External Radius - Internal Radius

\implies t =R -r

\implies 4 =16-r

\implies r = 16-4

\boxed{r=12cm}

\text{T.S.A of Cylinder = } 2\pi (R+r)(R-r+h)

\implies 2 \times \frac{22}{7}(16+12)(16-12+13)

\implies \frac{44}{7}(28)(4+14)

\implies 44 \times 4 \times 17

\boxed{\text{TSA of cylinder }=2992 \: cm^2}
