Answer:

because in F1 generation the T is hybrided with t so all the progeny will be Tt only

in F1 there will not be any TT progeny formed

this will form in F2 generation

Given :- v = 20m/sec

u = 0m/sec

t = 5sec

To Find :- The magnitude of retarding force on the vehicle.

Solution :-

Mass of car (m) = 940 kg

Mass of driver (m') = 60 kg

Total mass (M) = (940+60)kg = 1000 kg

By using First law of motion,

v \:  = u \:  + at \\  => a =  \frac{v - u}{t}  \\ a \:  =  \frac{20 - 0}{5}   \\ a \:  =   \frac{  20}{5}  \\ a \:  =  4

Hence, a = 4m/sec²

Retarding force F = M × a

= 1000 × 4

= 4000N

Hence, the magnitude of retarding force on the vehicle is 4000N.

Hence, option (4) 4000N is correct.
