The face of all describes the experience of a guest, who saw a wall on patch resembling that of a human face.

  • The question has been asked from the story The Face on the Wall by Edward Verrall Lucas.
  • A guest was staying in an old house in Great Ormand Street. One day he noticed muggy walls and found a few patches on them. One patch resembled a human face.
  • The guest became curious with the face and later it was revealed that it was the face of the Ormand wall an American Millionaire. He remembered the face being barely visible in the morning and disappearing by the night.
  • Later, he learned about the tragic incident about how Osmand succumbed to his injuries. In the end the guest says he had just made up the story and referred Osmand's face as of mystery.
