" Orpheus " was the son " Apollo ". He used ton play the most sweetest Music on Earth .He marries a girl named " Eurydice ". He used to love her a lot. But since their Marriage was not blessed by God of Marriage " Hymen " on a bad day Eurydice was bitten by a poisonous snake and dies Immediately. Her soul is taken to Underworld quickly by Hermes. Orpheus gets sad by this , He doesn't know what to do. He spends some time grieving for her and decided to bring her back from the Underworld.
He then travels to the Underworld where Hades and Persephone reside. He then Pleads them with his sweet music to send his wife back with him. Hades gets appealed by his Pleads and agrees to send Eurydice back to earth only on one condition.
Falling Action of Orpheus:
He tells Orpheus that he shouldn't look back to check whether his wife Eurydice is following him to the Land of Living until he reaches there. The journey was so long and at the end of the journey when they were almost about to reach the living world Orpheus looks back to check if Eurydice is following him. since he hasn't reached the Living world by then Hermes once again took her soul back to Underworld.
He was so heartbroken by this and starts to sing a sad song. then a few man man maenads ask him to join their dance. he doesn't listen to them , so they rip off his body to pieces and throw it away. after a few other struggles his soul is sent to underworld where Orpheus and Eurydice live together forever.
