When the object is at infinity the virtual image should form at 4m..

u = infinity..

V = - 4 cm.

1/f = 1/v - 1/u

= 1/f = 1/ -4+1/ infinity

= F = -4 cm..

and, the P = 1/f = 1/-4= - 0. 25D (ans)..
