Step-by-step explanation:

Let the Daughter's age be 'x'

Therefore the father's age will be 'x+24'

4 years later,

Daughter's age=x+4

Father's age(with respect to previous age) =4x+4

Father's age(with respect to Daughter's new age)= 3(x+4)

thus 4x+4 = 3(x+4)

4x+4 = 3x+12

4x-3x = 12-4

(Here we are bringing in terms from LHS to RHS and vice versa to get like terms, when a terms changes position from the '=' sign, it's sign will change from positive to negative and vice versa.)

1x = 8

x=8/1

=8

Since the Daughter's age is 'x', her age is 8.

And Since the father's age is '4x', his age is (4×8)= 32.

Hope this helps!!!✌️
