Answer:

let the present age of son is x years

so present age of father is 6x years

after 4 years son's age is( x+4) years

and father's age is( 6x+4)years

according to question ,

6x+4=4(x+4)

=> 6x+4=4x+16

=> 6x-4x=16-4

=> 2x=12

=> x=12/2=6

so , son's age is 6 years
