Step-by-step explanation:

given,

A.P= 2 , 6 , 18 .................,39366

first term ( a1 ) = 2

common difference ( d ) = a2 - a1 = 6 - 2

= 4

last term a(n) = 39366

a (n) = a + ( n-1 ) d

39366 = 2 + ( n- 1 ) × 4

39366 - 2 = 4n - 4

39364 + 4 = 4n

39368 = 4n

n = 39368 / 4

n = 9842

hence, a ( 9842) = 39366

to find the fifth term from the end we have to substract 5 from the end ( n )

a ( n-5) = 9842 - 5

= 9837

therefore, the fifth term from the end of the sequence is *9837*
