And let an  be the n  th term of G.P.

Given :

a 5 =ar ^4 =81  (a)

a  2 =ar=24  (b)

Divide the equation (a) by (b), we get

r  ^3 =  27/8

r=  3/2

Putting the value of r in the equation. (b), we get

a× 3/2 =24

a=16

Thus, the series is 16,24,36,54
