Let RM ⊥ PQ

So Quadrilateral PQRS is divided into two parts i.e.
1) Rectangle PSRM
2) Triangle RMQ

As we have to find the area of PQRS

Area of PQRS = Area of PSRM + Area of RMQ

Also SP = RM

In ΔRMQ,

MQ = 60-36
= 24 cm

By Pythagoras theorem

RQ² = MQ² + RM²

25² = 24² + RM²

625 = 576 + RM²

RM² = 625 - 576

RM² = 49

RM = 7cm

Now,

∴ Area of triangle RMQ = (MQ * RM)/2
= (24 * 7)/2
= 84 cm²

In rectangle PSRM,

Area of rectangle PSRM = SR * RM
= 36 * 7
= 252 cm²

Now, As we know that
Area of PQRS = Area of PSRM + Area of RMQ
Area of PQRS = 252 + 84
Area of PQRS = 336 cm²

Answer:- Area of quadrilateral PQRS = 336 cm²
