The figure below gives the V-t graph of a car. Find
(i) the diatance covered by the car in first 2 sec.
(ii) the distance covered by the car when it is moving with a uniform speed of 15m/sec.
(iii) the distance covered by the car in last 2 sec.
(iv) total distance travelled by the car.

Answer:

distance covered by a car in first two second will equal to the area under v-t graph upto 2 seconds =1/2*15*2=15m

distance covered by car when it is moving with 15m/s =4*15=60m

total distance travelled by the car =15+60+15=90m
