The figure below shows three cylindrical copper conductors along with their face areas and length.
Discuss in which geometrical shape the resistance will be highest.​

Answer:

2 nd will have the more resistence because as the area of the cross section decreases then the resistance will be increases .As compared to all three the second one has lower resistance and it is long as well. So as the length increases the resistance also increases...

So by this we can conclude that Resistance of the conductor depends on :

1. Length of conductor.

2. Area of cross section.
