the figure given alongside shows two identical semicircles enclosed in a circle the diameter of the circle is 28 CM the distance between the two semi circle is 8 cm find the area of the shaded part​

Hey , the distance between them is 8cm

so , distance from one semicircle to radius is 4cm

now , diameter of bigger circle is 38 cm

so , radius will be 14 cm

now , if the radius of bigger circle is 14 cm ,

then diameter of both semicircle will be 14-4

= 10 cm

then radius is 5cm

now , the area of semicircle is πr²/2

area of both identical circles combined is πr²

(22/7)×5×5

= 78.57 cm²
