Step-by-step explanation:

Solution :-

Given that

l and m are parallel lines

a transversal intersects the two lines then the angles formed are 140° and (2x+10)°

They are interior angles on the same side to the transversal which are supplementary.

=> (2x+10)° +140° = 180°

=> 2x+10° = 180°-140°

=> 2x+10° = 40°

=> 2x = 40°-10°

=> 2x = 30°

=> x = 30°/2

=> x = 15°

Therefore, x = 15°

Answer:-

The value of x for the given problem is 15°

Used formulae:-

→ If two parallel lines Intersected by a transversal then the interior angles on the same side to the transversal are supplementary.
