Answer: 1) area of larger circle = πr^2
= 3.14 × 12 × 12
=452.16 cm^2
2) area of smaller circle = πr^2
=3.14 × 5 × 5
=78.5 cm^2
3) area of shaded region= area of larger circle - area of smaller circle= 452.16 - 78.5= 373.66 cm^2
