the figure given here is made up of a rectangle and two identical triangle. The length of rectangle is 8 cm. Breadth 6 cm. It's equal sides of each 5 cm, find the total area of the figure

Area of rectangle = 8×4 = 48cm2
Now , coming to triangle
it's base = 6cm
and other two sides = 5cm
if we apply pythogarus theorem after drawing a bisector to base we get
Altitude = 4cm
