Given:-

• AB = 14cm, AM = MB

Then 2AM = 14cm

AM = 7cm

AM = MB = 7cm

To Find:-

• Area of Shaded Region

Solution:-

• Area of Semicircle = πr^2/2

           

$\frac{3.14 \times (4) {}^{2} }{2}$

$\frac{3.14 \times 16}{2}$

$25.1 \: sq.cm$

As both the Semicircle have same diameter then the area of both semicircle will be same.

$25.1 \times 2 = 50.2 \: sq.cm$
