a) Distance travelled = AB + BC = 60 + 40 = 100 m
Displacement = Straight Distance from A to C = 80 m
b) Distance travelled = AB + BC = 60 + 40 =100m
Since, distance travelled is in straight line
Therefore, Displacement = Distance = 100 m
c) Clearly in figure 2 (Straight Line) Distance and Displacement are equal.
