side= 10m

area of the whole land (square)= s*s

= 10*10

= 100msq

(b) area of the grass bed

diameter= 6m

radius= d/2

= 6/2

= 3m

area of the grass bed( circle)= pi*rsq

= 22/7*9

= 28.2msq

(c) are of the land excluding the grass bed= area of the whole land - area of the grass bed

= 100-28.2

= 71.8msq
