Area of Shaded region = 125 π = 392.5 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

2 concentric circles with diameter 30 cm and 20 cm

Radius of Larger Circle = 30/2 = 15 cm

Radius of Smaller Circle = 20/2 = 10 cm

Area of Larger Circle = π * 15²  cm²

Area of Smaller Circle = π * 10²  cm²

Area of Shaded region =  π * 15²  - π * 10²

= π ( 15² - 10²)

= π (15 + 10)(15 - 10)

= π * 25 * 5

= 125 π

using π = 3.14

= 392.5 cm²
