Answer:

since,the sides of rhombus are equal,

2x+y+1=x-y=(3x-y-2)/2

2x+y+1=x-y

x+2y=-1

x=-1-2y ...(i)

then,

x-y=(3x-y-2)/2

2x-2y=3x-y-2

2x+y=2

2(-1-2y)+y=2

-2-4y+y=2

-3y=4

y=-4/3

then put value of y in eqn(i)

x=5/3

then find the value of one side using these values and find perimeter using the formula

The perimeter of rhombus =32 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given sides of rhombus are

(2x+y+1) cm,(x-y) cm and (\frac{3x-y-2}{2}) cm

We know that all sides of rhombus are equal

Therefore,

x-y=2x+y+1

2x+y-x+y=-1

x+2y=-1....(1)

x-y=\frac{3x-y-2}{2}

2x-2y=3x-y-2

3x-y-2x+2y=2

x+y=2....(2)

Subtract equation (1) from (2)

y=-3

Substitute the values of in equation (1)

x+2(-3)=-1

x-6=-1

x=-1+6=5

Substitute the values of x and y

Side of rhombus=x-y=5-(-3)=5+3=8cm

Perimeter of rhombus=4\times side=4\times 8=32 cm

Hence, the perimeter of rhombus =32 cm
