The figure shows a test tube of 2 cm. The test tube has a cylindrical and hemispherical part with equal radii. If the total height of the test tube is 14 cm then what is the height of cylindrical part?​

I thought in this way to find the answer by formula but I realised that available formula isn't sufficient then I started thinking logically to find out the answer and finally I reached to this conclusion

that the radius of the hemisphere that is 2 cm will get subtracted from the total height

means 14-2 =12

So height of the cylindrical part =12 cm
