solution : we know, Electric field, E = Φ/A

where Φ is electric flux (i.e., electric lines of force), so the strength of electric field is no of electric lines of force per unit area.

in figure, it is clear that for point D, no of electric lines of force per unit area must be highest.

because at that point elementary must be smallest among all of them.

Therefore the strength of electric field will be highest at point D.
