Area of pool = Area of circular sector + Area of traingle
Area of circular sector = 2 x pi x 30^2 x (2 x 21 / 2 pi) = 1989 ft^2
Area of triangle using Heron's formula
s = (30 + 30 + 20 ) /2
Area of triangle = 2 x Sqr Root ( 40 x ( 40 - 30) x (40 -30) x (40 - 10) ) = 400 √2 ft²
So total area of pool = 1968 + 400 √2 ft²
