Answer:

area = 60sqcm

perimeter = 32cm

Step-by-step explanation:

  1. In the parallelogram ABCD, side AB = 10cm and side BC = 6cm
  2. Area of a parallelogram = b×h = 10×6 = 60sqcm
  3. perimeter of a parallelogram = 2(a+b) = 2(10+6) = 32cm

•Given:-

The figure shows the parallelogram of ABCD where AB=10cm and BC=6cm.

To find:-

Area and perimeter of parallelogram

Solution:-

As we know that the area of any parallelogram is (b×h) unit² [ where b = base and h= hight]

and perimeter of a parallelogram is 2(b+h) unit

so, area of parallelogram is = b×h = 10×6 = 60 cm²

and the perimeter of parallelogram is

= 2×(b+h) cm = 2×(10+6) cm = 32 cm

so,Area and perimeter of parallelogram are 60 cm² and 32 cm respectively.
