Explanation:- From the graph , it is straight line , so uniform motion . because of impulse direction of velocity changes as can seen from the slop of the graph .

  • Initial velocity v₁ = 2/2m/s = 1m/s
  • final volocity V₂ = -2/2 = -1m/s
  • pⁱ = mv₁ = 0.4 × 1 = 0.4N-S
  • pᶠ = mv₂ = 0.4× -1 = -04 N-S
  • J = pⁱ - pᶠ = -0.4 - 0.4 = -0.8 N-S where J = impulse ]
