We have been given a velocity-time graph over here.

The graph has a straight line that means the body is accelerating uniformly.

(a) The acceleration of the body can be found calculating the change in velocity of body per unit time.

At t = 3 seconds, the velocity of the body is 12m/s

and at t = 2 seconds, the velocity of the body is 8 m/s

Hence, the accelerating would be:-

a = \dfrac{12 - 8 }{3 - 2}

a = 4m/sec^{2}

So, the acceleration of the body is 4m/sec² !

(b) The mass of the particle is 200g i.e 0.2 Kg

The Force of a body can by calculated using - F = ma

Therefore, the Force of the would would be:-

F = 0.2 x 4

F = 0.8 N

So, the Force acting on the body is 0.8 N !
