The filament of an electric bulb is a resistor and not a good conductor . How it is different from the conductors used as connecting wires?​

The filament is made up of Tungsten

It is different from conductors for connecting wire as it has high melting point of 3380C

It is not a good conductor since it uses all energy to obstruct the current to produce heat and generate light

it high melting point ensure it doesn't melt in side the bulb

conductors conduct electricity whereas connecting wires resist electricity that is to prevent from excess heating and getting accident
