Answer:

Work Done = The Change in Kinetic

Energy

= 1/2mv2 - 1/2 mu2

The Mass of car = 1000 kg

Intial Velocity = 18km/h

= 18* 5 / 18

= 5 m/s

Final Velocity = 38km/hr

= 36 * 5/18

= 2*5

= 10m/s

Work Done = 1/2 mv2 - 1/2 mu2

= 1/2 m(v2 - u2)

= 1/2* 1000 (10*10-5*5)

= 500(100-25)

= 500* 75

= 27500 joule

Explanation:

work done to change velocity = change in kinetic energy

change in kinetic energy = 1/2 m (v2 - u2)

m = 1500kg

v = 60km/hr

u = 30km/hr

change in kinetic energy = 1/2 x 1500 x (602 - 302)

= 1/2 x 1500 x (3600 - 900)

= 1/2 x 1500 x 2700

= 2025000J

hope this helps!!!!!!!!
