The first angle of a triangle is 1/3 its second angle whereas the third angle is 5 times the first angle. Find tye measure of all the angles of the triangle.

let the second angle be   x  degrees

∴first angle will be   1/3*x degrees =x/3 degrees

∴third angle will be  5* 1/3*x degrees =5x/3 degrees

∴ x + x/3 + 5x/3 =180   [sum of the angles of a triangle =180 ]

∴ [3x+x+5x]/3  =180

∴ 9x /3=180  ⇒ 3x = 180

∴ x = 180/3 =60 .......second angle  ANS

first angle will be  =x/3 degrees= 60/3 =20 degree ANS

third angle will be  =5x/3 degrees= 5*20 = 100 degree ANS
