the first citizen of our India(president) does not enjoy real power because india consists of a federal government. Effecting the Westminster system for governing the state, the federal government is mainly composed of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches, in which all powers are vested by the Constitution in Parliament, the Prime Minister and the Supreme Court, and the President of India is only the Head of State and the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces while the elected Prime Minister acts as the chief executive (of the executive branch) and is responsible for running the federal government.

Hey there
The first citizen of India is our President, he or she does not enjoy the real power because according to the constitution, he or she should listen to the advice of the Prime minister and can't take any decisions on their own.
For example,
President can't execute any law on his own but only has the power to sign the passing of law.
