The first four Diagrams in a sequence are shown above.
Each Diagram is made from dots and one centimetre lines.
The area of each small square is 1 cm.

For each diagram, the number of squares of area 1cm² is A, the number of dots is D and the number of one centimeter lines is L.

Find a connection between A, D and L that is true for every diagram.

Answer:

l=d+a-1

Step-by-step explanation:

there is a connection

for dig)1    for dig)2     for dig)3    dig)4

a=2           a=6             a=12           a=20

d=6           d=12            d=20          d=30

l=7             l=17             l=31             l=49

now a=2 and 2)a=6

diff=4

the difference is always increasing by 2 for a

now about d

their diff is always increasing by 2 same as a

and l is also increasing its diference by 2

i guess it will help u

BYE

Akankshya1: the connection should be between A,D and I
Akankshya1: of the same diagram
Akankshya1: which also holds true for the rest of the diagrams
ravi9848267328: difference of a=difference of d=difference of l=2
ravi9848267328: hey sry answer is l=a+d-1
Akankshya1: ok Thank you so much!!

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, we can see that all the 3 values , i.e. A and D are increasing with consecutive even numbers, with A increasing by 4,6,8 ; B increasing with 6,8,10 .

L is increasing with 10,14,18 that is , it is increasing with consecutive numbers being added by 4.

Therefore, I think that the next figure will have

A = 30

D = 42

L = 71

Hope it helps u^_^
