electronic configuration of nitrogen=1s2, 2s2, 2p3
electronic configuration of oxygen=1s2, 2s2, 2p4
since in nitrogen the subshell is half filled being stable thats why more energy is required to remove the electron compared to oxygen
therefore first ionisation energy of oxygen is lesser than nitrogen
