A single lamp can enlighten others.

Explanation:

The word 'Guru' is a Sanskrit word meaning teacher. It means that someone who is a master in a certain field be it be knowledge, sports or any other. Similarly, a disciple is someone who is fully devoted to his guruor rather in short, say, his student. The guru teaches his disciples, enlightens them by narrating certain motivational & inspiring stories, makes them realise their purpose in this world. He is someone who makes his disciples 'live their life'. Hence, im this way, he if considered to a lamp, lights his disciples (the other lamps) which then goes on generation after generation.
