The first living cell was discovered by Anton Van leeuwenhoek in 1674. He experimented on the the free living cells of pond water.

▪︎Actually, cells were first discovered by Robert hook in 1665 but it was not living, it was dead cell as he experimented on a cork cell.

▪︎After that, in 1831 Robert Brown discovered the nucleus in the cell.
