Answer:   Bengal Gazette

Explanation:

The first news paper published in India was Bengal Gazette .

It was founded during the British Raj by James Augustus Hicky. The first publication of this paper came in 29th January 1780 and was a weekly paper. It continued for two years from 1780 to 1782.

The newspaper was regarded as a severe critic of the East India Company as a result could continue for only two years before the Company seized its printing press as well as newspaper`s type.
