The first term and 15 term of an
AP are 7 and 15 respectively. Find
the common difference?? ​

Let a be the first term and d be the common difference.

Then 15th term=a+14d

or 15=7+14d

or 14d=8

or d=8/14

or d=4/7

Therefore common difference= 4/7.

Here I used the formula Nth term of AP =a+(N-1)d.
