p + 9q

Given that,

=> First term of an A.P. is (a) = p

=> Common difference d = q

=> Find its 10th term.  

We know that,

=> an = a + ( n − 1 ) d

=> a10 = p + ( 10 − 1 ) q

=> a10 = p + 9q

Hence, 10th term is p + 9q.
