a=5, d =4 sn ?

sn=n/2(2a+(n-1)d)

s12= 12/2(2*5+(12-1)4)

=6(10+(11)4)

=6(10+44)

=6(54)

=324

therefore, the sum of the first 12th term of an AP is 324
