Answer:

as the three terms are in GP series so

(x-2)/(x+10)=(x-10)/(x-2)

(x-2)(x-2)=(x+10)(x-10)

x^2-4x+4=x^2-100

-4x= -100-4= -104

x= -104/ -4=26

so the value of x is 26

the 1st term is 26+10=36

2nd term is 26-2=24

3rd term is 26-10=16

the common ratio is 24/36=2/3
