Slope of AC = ( 6 - -2 ) / ( 10 - 4 ) = 8 / 6

Slope of AB = ( 4 - -2 ) / ( -4 - 4 ) = 6 / -8

( slope of AC ) × ( slope of AB ) = ( 8/6 ) × ( 6/-8 ) = -1

Therefore AC and AB are perpendicular
