Explanation:

Fa-Hien or Faxian was a buddhist monk who came to India in 399 AD to explore his religious beliefs. Faxian first visited the northern regions of India and then Holy Buddhist sites located in Shivalik hills and Ganges valley. He went to the birth place of Buddha (Kapilavastu) then he visited Bodhgaya, sarnath and many other places where Bodh traces was found. He completed his studies in Nalanda University and lived around 10 years in India to explore the Magadha. Then he went to Sri-lanka or Ceylon via sea route and searched for other Buddhist places. And after exploring his religious beliefs, he went back to China in 414 AD.
