1)Improverishment of the cultivators

the farmer suffer due to high revenue imposed on them the British took a large portion of their produce even when the crops fail they were forced to pay the land revenue by borrowing money from money lender when they were not able to pay back the loan their land was taken by the money lenders.

2) Ruin of trade and handicrafts

The artisan and craft men were ruined by unaffair competition from the machinemachine made goods imported from Britain which where much cheaper than the handmade goods.

3) Loss of livelihood

Since the ruling class no longer enjoyed power, royal patronage could not be extended to craftman ,religious and culture people like farmer ,poet and musician in this many more people in society lost their livelihood.

4)The drain of Wealth

The drain of India's wealth by British in many ways was also very much resented by the Indians. This was also a main cause which inspired the national movement to a large extent .
