The flash of a gun is seen by a man 3seconds before the sound is heard.calculate the distance of the gun from man (speed of sound in air is 332m/s).

distance = speed * timed = 332 m/s * 3 s

d = 996m

speed = distance /time
332 = distance /3
distance =332×3
= 996m
