The floor of a building consists of 3000 tiles which are rhombus shaped and each of is diagonals are 45cm and 40cm in length find the total cost of polishing the floor if the cost per square is RS 4

Area of a tile sha67ped rhombus = 1/2×diagonal1 ×diagonal 2

=1/2 ×45×40
=900cm^2
1m^s=10000cm
?m^s=900cm
900/10000=0.09m^2
area of 1 tile=0.09m^2
area of 3000tiles=0.09×3000=270m^2
Total expense = 270×4=1080 rupees

Area of 1 tile = Area of Rhombus

 :   \longrightarrow\displaystyle \sf{Area  \: of  \: Rhombus =  \frac{1}{2}  \times d1 \times d2} \\  \\  :  \longrightarrow \displaystyle \sf{Area  \: of  \: Rhombus =  \frac{1}{ \cancel{2}}  \times 50\times  \cancel{40}} \\  \\    : \longrightarrow\displaystyle \sf{Area  \: of  \: Rhombus =   50 \times 20} \\  \\ : \longrightarrow\displaystyle \sf{ \pink{Area  \: of  \: Rhombus =   1000 {cm}^{2} }}

Area of 3000 tiles = 3000 × Area of 1 tile

= 3000 × 1000

= 30,00,000cm^2

Now, we will find the cost.

Since, cost is given per m^2

we need to convert the area into m^2

Area = 30,00,000cm^2
