Answer:

⇒ Given,

       d1 = 45 cm

       d2 = 30 cm

       cost of polishing the floor = ₹ 2.5

⇒  Area of one rhombus-shaped tiles = d1 × d2

                                                          = 45 cm × 30 cm

                                                          =  1350 cm²

⇒ Area of 3000 rhombus-shaped tiles = 3000 tiles × 1350 cm²

                                                                 = 4050000 cm²

1 m² = 100 cm × 100 cm²

           =  10000 cm²

converting 4050000 cm² to m²

⇒  4050000 cm² / 10000 cm²

⇒  405 m²

Cost of polishing the floor

⇒  405 m² × ₹ 2.5

⇒ ₹ 1012.5

∴  The cost of polishing the floor is ₹ 1012.5.
