area of a rhombus tile=1 /2×(product of diagonals)
=1/2×40cm×25cm
=20cm×25cm
=500cm²
so, area of 4000 tiles=4000×500
=2000000cm²=2000m²
the cost of polishing the floor per m²=rs 1000
therefore,
the cost of polishing the floor 2000m²=1000×2000
=rs 2000000
