The floor of a building consists of 5000 which are rhombus shaped and each of diag is 30cm and 20cm in length. Find the total cost of polishing the floor if the cost per m 6rs​

First Diagonal of rhombus ( d1) = 30 cm

Second Diagonal of rhombus (d2) = 20 cm

Therefore, area of rhombus = 1/2 × d1× d2 = 1/2 ×30 × 20 = 300 sq. cm

Therefore, area of 5000 tiles = 5000× 300 = 1500000 sq. cm

Now, we have to covert it in sq. m = 1500000/100 = 15000 sq. m

Cost of polishing 1 sq. m of floor = Rs. 6

Therefore, cost of polishing 15000 sq. m of floor = 6×15000 = Rs. 90,000
